As a research and development team which embraces a practical approach, we soon recognised the specific possibilities that this unique technology could offer industry and medical technology. Industrial plasma technology is a relatively young field and we have been involved from the very start. Today, relyon plasma components ensure product safety in many sectors. Reinhausen Service GmbH
The GmbH is founded as a 100% subsidiary of the internationally renowned Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen. The company was initially founded in Regensburg under the name Reinhausen Service GmbH.
2004
Reinhausen Plasma GmbH
The company goes on the market under the name Reinhausen Plasma GmbH.
2006
JE Plasma Consult
Takeover of JE Plasma Consult, a long-standing specialist in industrial surface treatment. In the following years, massive investments are made in the suitability of the products for series production

In the course of a management buy-out, Reinhausen Plasma GmbH was renamed relyon plasma GmbH. Dr. Stefan Nettesheim and Klaus Forster become 100% shareholders.
2018
TDK
Relyon plasma GmbH expands market presence with a new shareholder, EPCOS AG, a subsidiary of TDK Group (today TDK Electronics). The aim is to jointly develop and market innovative cold-plasma technologies for influencing the surface properties of materials.
Relocation
Relocation to a new building, which is optimally adapted to the demand and which allows the freedom to further deepen and expand our focus in application technology and development.
2020
Certification ISO 13485
Successful certification according to DIN EN ISO13485 and DIN EN ISO 9001. TÜV SÜD certifies the quality management system for medical products for the first time.
2021
New business field dental
Several successfully conducted webinars on the topic of “Plasma in Medicine” and the presentation of the implaPrep concept have enabled the entry into a new business field.
