Perfluorelastomer (FFKM/FFPM)

Perfluorelastomer (FFKM/FFPM) is a fully fluorinated elastomer. Chemically it is very similar to polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE). It is used primarily in applications where high thermal and/or chemical resistance is crucial. FFKM can be used at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +325 °C (-5 °F to +620 °F).

Plasma enables the increase of surface energy through a surface treatment of perfluorelastomer.
